I got this noodle recipe from http://theasiangrandmotherscookbook.wordpress.com/2007/10/25/somen-salad-tasty/
I changed it little though here is my version.
I bought this whole wheat Soba which by the way is super tasty!
Sauce for my noodle sorry I took the pic at the last minute not too attractive.
Ingredients
1/8 cup oil
1 1/2 TBS rice vinegar
1 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoons sugar
Salt
1tbs toasted sesame seed
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a screw-top lid. Screw top on. Shake well. As you can see I used a takeout container instead to shake it up.
Shred some lettuce, cook up 1 egg roll it up and cut it up cooked the noodles, added some beef and lastly mixed in the sauce.
What do you think? The original version looks much prettier of course. I had 2 bowls and still have quite a bit of left overs! I made only for 1 person.
I know I already mentioned earlier that the wheat noodle is tasty but honestly give it a try you won't even notice the difference!
